Cat Back system Akrapovic MINI Cooper S Coupè (R58) ’14

Crafted from the finest stainless steel, this new exhaust system consists of an optimized link pipe, a built-in resonator, and a rear muffler. The system improves performance, adds power and torque, and improves the engine’s responsiveness. Compared to the Evolution ME-MIN/TI/1H, this new system is suitable for drivers looking for an EC type-approved exhaust for the updated MINI. This new Evolution performance exhaust system offers the classic Akrapovic sound, and it has the same sound color as the previous Evolution system. The sound level of the new system is appropriate for drivers looking for a refinement. Complete the look with a set of two exquisite 95 mm tailpipes in titanium or carbon fibre.

When installing Akrapovic aftermarket optional down pipes with sports catalytic converters or without catalytic converters, which are developed for use on closed tracks only, remapping the ECU is mandatory. When installing Akrapovic aftermarket exhaust system that was developed for use on closed tracks, we recommend remapping the ECU in order to prevent potential »check engine light« warning signals.

Cars equipped with Akrapovic exhaust systems benefit from additional performance and increased responsiveness. Significant gains in power and torque are achieved throughout the entire rpm range. All Akrapovic exhaust system measurements are made on our computer-controlled chassis dynamometers.
